About Us

The Environment

We strive to provide a clean, safe, and educational environment for young children and their families. Within our care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. We believe in being supportive of our parents, and we welcome their positive involvement and presence at all times. We further believe that within our environment, children can thrive and have the opportunity to blossom into responsible and contributing members of our society.

Our Philosophy

Kiddie Shack Preschool is dedicated and committed to our children by providing exceptional education and quality child care. It is our philosophy to focus on the needs of the individual child by providing a stimulating atmosphere for learning along with a secure, loving environment. We believe that a childcare facility should be an extension of each child's family. Our teachers and parents are encouraged to work together to provide the love and support needed as your child reaches developmental milestones and his/her achievements! We are passionate about education and providing our children with the tools to be successful in life. Working together, we are building today's foundation for tomorrow's future.

About Mrs. Sabrina

I originally started my home daycare as a childcare provider registered with the State of Texas from December 2006 until April 2010 in Carrollton, then became a licensed home daycare, where I remained until July 2023. In August 2023, we relocated the daycare to Rockwall (Fate: Woodcreek Neighborhood) and have been here since. I have many years of experience in the childcare field as an owner, provider, and teacher. I am a mother of two children, who are 19 years and 5 years old; both have been raised in the home daycare setting since infancy; as a mother, safety is the most important thing to me as well as education. So, here at Kiddie Shack Preschool, I strive to make your child the best person he/she can be for now and in the years to come. Please note that I am not a babysitter but an educator and caregiver of a licensed home daycare.

Our Staff

All of our staff meet the licensing requirements to be able to teach in a licensed facility in the State of Texas, including background and FBI fingerprint checks. We require 24-35 hours of annual ongoing training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff is trained in First Aid, CPR, SIDS, and Shaken Baby Syndrome.
